In FY2025 we cut overall emissions volume by 8.4%, reduced energy consumption by 7.21%, withdrew 33% less water and generated 10% less waste, while improving Scope 1 emissions intensity by 5% versus 2024. We source all our energy from the grid, predominantly renewable hydropower, and target a 30% reduction in stack emissions by 2030 and net zero by 2050.
In FY2025 we invested RM230,514 in community projects, including beach cleaning, school support and recycling art, and achieved zero lost-time incidents. 94% of our employees are Sarawakian, and we partner with SMK Asyakirin under a five-year Foster School programme to support local education.
In FY2025 we recorded zero incidents of non-compliance with laws or regulations, recertified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, maintained a debt-to-equity ratio of 0.2, and achieved zero customer complaints. Strong governance lets Sakura operate safely and manage risk before it becomes costly.
